Around this
time of year, I love looking on Pinterest for all the different Christmas DIYs.
I particularly like all the different kid’s activities, so I thought I would share
with you 3 of my favourite ones I found.
Please note that none of the pictures
used in this post are my own and were all taken from the Pinterest site.
My first
favourite idea found whilst in the site is using lollipop sticks to make ornaments,
and is definitely something I am going to do with the little people in my life
this year. The basis of the idea is to use lollipop sticks to make an outline,
i.e. for a tree or a reindeer and then use pompoms, googly eyes, sequences and
other various materials to decorate. You then add a ribbon and its ready to
hang on any Christmas tree or fire place. I particularly love the Christmas tree
various of this activity. Recently, I have tried and tested these lollipop stick activities and have got a lot of good feed back!
Paper Plates
There are so
many characters you can create with paper plates, its so simple but is sure to
keep little ones busy. Using paint, pompoms, paper and other materials you can make
any Christmas character your heart desires, from Father Christmas, to a snowman
or a cute little penguin.
I love using
handprints to create different pictures, and Christmas is no exception. Snowflakes,
robins, reindeers and wreaths can all be made just by dipping a kid’s hand in
paint. This type of activity is super easy, super simple and doesn’t take up too
much time. The can also be used to make some very cute homemade Christmas cards.
So, for anyone
that has little ones around this Christmas and has no idea how to keep them
entertained, just check the wonderful world that is Pinterest!
Lots of Love,
Holly x
